Hi, I desperately need help in connecting my home PC which is running on Windows XP SP3 to my Wifi network. Currently my laptop (Windows 8) and my wife's tablet are connected to WIFI network but can't connect the home desktop PC to it. Did some researchand discovered that the 802.11g/n wireless driver is missing in the network adaptor under device manager. I suspect this as the cause of non-connectivity but how can I download and install this wireless driver to the PC??Can you please provide me simple steps to follow in installing this 802.11g wireless driver?Urgent assistance required here.CheersRobin Wavite. Robin,This is the Dell support page for your computer -As near as I can determine, your Optiplex was made in Australia. If you are indeed in Australia (and you probably are, if you have a Telstra modem/router), I don't have any information about what products might be available to you or where you could purchasethem.My personal preference would be an adapter that includes a cable so that the antenna isn't positioned between the back of your computer and the wall.

On the other hand, if your computer is going to be withing a few meters of your router, it doesn't make muchdifference, and you could use an adapter that looks like a USB flash drive (or smaller).
